Toilets

Toilets actually have a couple of different names including water closets and commodes. Choosing a toilet is a simple process. They come in two standard sizes, round or elongated. Which toilet is correct for you depends on your needs such as space limitations, height requirements and styles. If you choose a round one, it will save on space and there are more options for seats. Elongated toilets are about 2 inches longer and have an oval shaped bowl.  Elongated and round commodes come in many different colors and offered by several manufacturers. Also when deciding what kind of toilet to purchase, you can choose between a one piece and a two piece. One piece commodes are easy to clean and you don’t have any chance of leakage between the bowl and the tank. Generally one piece water closets come with the toilet seats. Two piece commodes are less expensive and you have to purchase the bowl and tank separately. The seat is not normally included with two piece toilets. Kohler, Toto, and American Standard all produce state-of-the-art toilets. The Kohler Wellworth is a top selling commode and it comes in round or elongated versions, with several colors to choose from.  Some people may be concerned with the location of the flush lever. If that is the case, certain toilets offer flush levers in different locations. The levers can be on the side, front or top. Flush levers also come in different colors and styles. Moen and Kohler make some unique styles of flush levers.
