Sinks

Sinks play an important functional role in your home. Every home has at least two. Sinks are must haves in the kitchen as well as the bathroom. Some homes have several sinks throughout the home while others may only have a few. No matter what size home you have, chances are you got a sink. Sinks can also be placed outside in garages or even outside kitchens. Sinks come in all different sizes and are made out of different materials. Sinks can be made out of stainless steel, granite, copper, fireclay, porcelain, cast iron, vitreous china, glass, and molded stone. Different styles are offered for the kitchen then in the bathroom. Kitchen sinks are offered in self rimming, undermount, double bowl or single bowl. Kitchen sinks are also offered with an apron front most likely know as the farmhouse style. Bathroom sinks can be undermount, self rimming, or vessel bowls. Kitchen sinks can be chosen by the style you like or sometimes you have to choose by the amount of space you have. Custom style sinks can be made but can very expensive. Apron front or farmhouse style sinks can also have designs or tiles on the apron of the sink. Double bowl sinks can have equal size bowls or you can choose to have the left or right bowl smaller than the other. It depends on what style sink you would like.
